Boomstick36 so your using just one psu? the toughpower 1200w modular? or do you have dedicated gpu psu? 10/23/2009 4:20:12 PM

hallowen
besides the two super talent 32gb drives, i have two 300gb western digital velociraptors that i use for main data storage drives. 09/06/2009 4:46:45 AM

Trelor
what do you use for storage of data i mean those 32gb's have to get filled fast. externals or network storage? 09/06/2009 3:30:13 AM

hallowen
thanks bigrelly........... at this point, even if i had (and wanted to pay for) the new 4-way sli classified with four gtx 300 series vc's instead of the four "special" gtx 285's, it would still be difficult to break 50k! :) 09/02/2009 2:05:55 PM

Bigrelly
when you hit the big 50,000 it will be very nice i have a feeling you will do it soon, go get it 08/29/2009 1:58:58 AM

hallowen
thanks n3ocort3x, it's looking good, but i keep changing it's components/appearance constantly! :) 08/19/2009 4:26:03 PM

n3ocort3x
nice rig craig xd love it 08/19/2009 11:14:45 AM

hallowen
thanks mcs1181, onward we go! :) 08/18/2009 6:41:37 AM

MCS1181
grats on breaking 46k, awesome score man. 08/18/2009 3:25:09 AM

hallowen
thanks agrimm1, the 758 had already beat my 759 classified and 756 micro using chilled water cooling, but i went back to phase change cooling due to condensation issues with running sub-zero water for cpu cooling previously on these motherboards. ;) 08/16/2009 6:05:25 AM
agrimm1 that's insane... have you tried the classy on an equivalent cooling setup? i 08/16/2009 12:08:34 AM

hallowen
this score was achieved with my 920 do/758 x58 sli mb which beat the top scores of both my 759 classified and my 756 micro motherboards. 08/15/2009 11:32:59 AM

Jordan23James
is that score from regular evga x58 3 way sli mobo? or classifield? 08/15/2009 11:17:48 AM

hallowen
oh yeah!......looks like the new replacement 295 is working good! :) 08/15/2009 7:47:23 AM

hallowen
thanks guys, i'm still waiting for my rma replacement 295 before i can continue back with quad-sli and attempt higher scores. ;) 08/11/2009 2:16:23 PM

boredgunner
so you've taken first place again. nice! 08/11/2009 8:23:36 AM

kyozero
so switch back to the x58 vanilla and got a better score that's sweet i'm just waiting for a wc parts and see if i cant get to the 40k, nice score a little bit more to the 46k yo can do it congrats back to #1. 08/09/2009 4:09:44 PM

hallowen
thanks q56_monster, phase change does allow you to run higher vcore and hopefully i will get around to 3dmark06 . right now while waiting for my replacement 295, i have disassembled my remaining 295 to re-do the thermal pads and gpu tim. 08/09/2009 6:05:12 AM

q56_monster
lovely voltage on that d0. you should be able to kill a 3dm06 run with that cpu! 08/08/2009 8:29:57 PM

Trelor
very nice score, back up to number one again. and from the picture it looks like your case is floating in mid air. 08/07/2009 3:22:13 PM

hallowen
thanks q56_monster, after all the problems running sub-zero temps with chilled water, the condensation level was too much for me, so i went back to phase change again! :) 08/06/2009 7:34:24 PM

q56_monster
ah haaa...took my advice huh. i know you were already thinkin it. congrats on #8 in the world on hwbot!!! woot!! 08/06/2009 7:04:54 PM

hallowen
thanks guys, it's still a work in progress! ;) 08/06/2009 7:40:22 AM

amroviper
gr8 clocks there !! 46k is really close now :d 08/06/2009 3:28:25 AM

q56_monster
might be time to phase change again, huh? you have the gpu score beat...just need to work on the cpu side now. come on...i hear that cpu crystallizing under the ice now! 08/05/2009 5:27:27 PM
chaosion wow congrats bro on the 45k nice rig and setup keep on pushing that badboy 08/05/2009 4:37:50 PM

hallowen
thanks q56_monster, i didn't take the classified off the mods rigs, i think that it was taken off when i switched back to the vanilla 758 motherboard by the evga staff. 08/05/2009 10:11:30 AM

q56_monster
congrats again on #1. you'll be passing 46k soon...i feel it. you took yourself off the classified modsrigs? you still have a respectable score there (44,929 i believe), you should put that rig back up. 08/05/2009 9:47:09 AM

johnksss
these old twin pcb's seem to be the sure thing for right now...those singles seem to be the after thought...i think im going to be babing mine later on..lol..dont want to rma for a single pcb right now...hahahaha 08/04/2009 9:33:44 PM

hallowen
thanks john, i'll be continuing to try and increase the oc's on these "old" twin pcb 295's! 08/04/2009 5:41:10 PM

johnksss
great work going on over here!. keep it up! 08/04/2009 5:34:06 PM

hallowen
thanks guys, this 920 do/evga x58 mb combo has really been doing the job! ;) 08/04/2009 11:49:29 AM

Chaos_21
outstanding job on the top vantage score! i've got a little ways to go myself, but i'm working on it. 08/04/2009 11:28:24 AM

MrH3ll
congrats dude im really glade u made it to 45k =) 08/03/2009 12:42:23 PM

hallowen
thanks q56_monster, it's a relief to finally get there, and hopefully we'll try to improve even more! 08/01/2009 9:27:04 PM

q56_monster
congrats on 45k! 08/01/2009 8:45:56 PM

raku2040
hmmmm...great and good luck with your endeavor.... 07/29/2009 7:48:45 AM

hallowen
thanks raku, i've removed the 759 classified (for future use) and now i'm just trying to break 45k with the micro on chilled water cooling only. :) 07/28/2009 5:21:40 PM

raku2040
ah....i found your updated rig....now....prev setp was best...but this one is much better,....sweet...and nice score and oc's 07/28/2009 12:37:33 PM

johnksss
lol, yeah...me too...i think ill be able to pull it off soon. just getting my numbers right..im still using the exact same gpu clocks 817/1240/1817. once i get high enough, then ill start raising the gpu clocks again. 07/25/2009 3:00:50 PM

hallowen
i'm still pushing this micro pretty hard so far for those elusive "handful of points", and at the same time, i'm waiting for you to knock out 46k! lol! 07/25/2009 2:02:30 PM

johnksss
<<<<<<<<<<(coming from my profile) come on bud, im waiting for ya! knock out that hand full of points! 07/25/2009 1:40:53 PM

hallowen
thanks john, looks like i'll have to wait for the gtx300 series to be released (possibly even the rumored evga mars 295) or i could switch over to dry ice/ln2 pots for the 295's to really load test the psu's! ;) 07/24/2009 9:17:41 PM

johnksss
you wont really be able to tell until you run 3 vga cards. that will put you around 1300 to 1600 + watts when running 2 over clocked 295's and a 3rd card (gtx280 - gtx285)for physx. with what im doing now..it's around 1250 watts. if i add another card...^^^ that number goes..so im thinking that add wattage and amperage would balance everything out in the end. 07/24/2009 2:29:38 PM

hallowen
it is working very well and i am still running tests between using the main psu with/without the aux psu, and have not found any significant gain/loss that i have noticed so far, but i'm still trying it in different mb's/cpu configurations for ongoing testing. :) 07/21/2009 6:42:13 AM

johnksss
hey hallo. how is that new power supply working out?? im real curious about it. 07/20/2009 10:43:01 PM

hallowen
don't know when i'll be using the original x58 sli motherboard again, but i may be experimenting with another new evga motherboard shortly......;p 07/20/2009 5:14:11 PM

threedhero
hallowen i would love to see you break the x58 board again see what kind of numbers you could cruch with your new setup! o.o if i remember correctly you were beat the classy in vantage with it. 07/20/2009 11:19:25 AM

hallowen
lol!, with the additional thermaltake aux vga 650watt psu, my total available system power is now 1850watts! :) 07/15/2009 10:33:32 AM

boredgunner
was that a joke, or do you really need more +12v amperage? i guess it is thermaltake toughpower 1500w next time? 07/15/2009 8:26:58 AM

hallowen
thanks guys! :), it's still doing great on just water cooling! i'm pushing to improve my oc's, but i have to increase my psu size first! ;) 07/10/2009 9:08:59 PM

Psycophobia™
this is all getting a bit boring is there not any 1 that can take mr hallowen of the top spot? and don't ask me i would be lucky to buy my self a twinky at the moment. nice score :) 07/10/2009 5:46:49 AM

Bigrelly
nice water cooling set up..mad vantage score thats just crazy nice work 07/09/2009 3:11:56 AM

hallowen
thanks m1a1tanker, you just have to keep on pushin' the limits! ;) 07/04/2009 9:15:17 AM

m1a1tanker
how does it feel to be at the top all the time? i just made #9 spot for gtx 275 (with ease) and i feel great just to be in top 10. all i had to do is replace my garbage 9800gx2. 07/04/2009 8:52:21 AM

m1a1tanker
epic scores man! i wish i had the knowledge to oc like that! but i don't play enough graphic demanding games anymore, no need to really oc right now. world of warcraft got me pretty stuck atm. but i can't get my qx9770 past 4.2... =( 07/04/2009 8:37:12 AM

hallowen
thanks johnksss, "dadragon" is looking good also! :).........@bigrelly, i just posted a quick 3dmark 06 score to fill the requirements for posting in the mods rigs! 07/04/2009 6:42:56 AM

Bigrelly
i beat your 3d mark 06 score but i dont have 2 gtx295,s so your the winner with vantage (go the chilled water) 07/04/2009 1:15:47 AM

johnksss
sweet setup you got over here! it inspired me to create what im working on now... 07/03/2009 11:14:58 PM

hallowen
the single pcb 295 won't work with the evga volt tuning software (different voltage regulator) so i am still using the dual pcb 295's until the 300 series becomes available. :) 06/20/2009 9:19:09 PM
Boomstick36 you running the new gtx 295's co-op? the one on the single pcb? 06/20/2009 6:50:31 PM

hallowen
thanks fyrezerk, so far i have had it up to 4.608ghz on chilled water cooling and still doing ongoing testing. :) 06/13/2009 4:59:54 AM

Fyrezerk
nice 975, how's the ocing on that chip? 06/12/2009 9:54:50 PM

hallowen
thanks waxking1, i'm really trying to see how far i can push it on just chilled water cooling! :-) 06/10/2009 3:31:50 PM
waxking1 you just keep moving the bar up, great job. i can see a 45k in the near future. 06/10/2009 2:56:35 PM

hallowen
thanks q56_monster, if i ever find enough time i'll give it a try! :) 06/10/2009 2:54:53 PM

q56_monster
congrats again hallo....just for grins, why don't you bang out a few 3dm06 runs and see how far north of 30k you can go! 06/10/2009 2:28:49 PM

hallowen
lol!, thanks performancepc, people have been telling me that and it looks like you're not doing too bad yourself!(43k+!) ;) 06/10/2009 5:58:56 AM
PerformancePC 44,000+? you're insane. 06/09/2009 9:02:47 PM

hallowen
lol!, not really, but it sure is fun when all the components are working together with high overclocks at the same time! ;) 06/09/2009 3:44:22 AM
DubsD now hallowen isnt this just getting ridiculous :) 06/09/2009 12:21:16 AM

hallowen
yes, although these corsair gt's were expensive, they run at fantastic timings and are working great with the classified/975/295's. 06/08/2009 2:20:03 PM

boredgunner
good info, now i'll mess around with my video cards. i still can't believe the 1t you got on the ram! your score went up a little bit more too :o 06/08/2009 1:43:56 PM

hallowen
thanks boredgunner, oc'ing at gpu speeds over 800mhz+, i sometimes have to lower the memory speeds for the 295's to operate at higher core speeds. :) 06/05/2009 6:01:22 PM

hallowen
thanks q56_monster, the chiller is cooling the cpu/vid cards well! 06/05/2009 5:56:47 PM

boredgunner
congrats on breaking 44k! so i take it your gtx 295's memory is maxed out? lets hope your cpu can get higher than that, imagine 45k... :) 06/05/2009 5:54:41 PM

q56_monster
congrats on breaking 44k hallo!...ultra nice on the temps! 06/05/2009 5:18:19 PM

hallowen
finally broke 44k+!, and with the new i7-975 on chilled cooling water (12c water temps)! :) 06/05/2009 2:23:52 PM

hallowen
i have been using the same chiller setup for many different cooling arrangements. you can look in my "get it colder" thread for more info on the a/c chiller conversion. 06/02/2009 3:47:53 PM
quberthardcore its sad with thing dont work win you get them i was wonring if you can deskribe to me how you cooling sistom work i hope im not ask to much i hope to make soming like it im not shere what componets i will need can you pc run 24 7 no problems hows you power bill i dont no what in you ice box im die to no lol i have look at your pic it looks like you have 2 deferent set ups 06/01/2009 7:58:29 PM

hallowen
thanks chronic420, the 920 do cpu was at 4.3ghz on chilled water cooling and my 965 was at 4.818ghz under phase change. atm i have switched over to a 975 and running tests on that cpu using chilled water. i seem to be doing a lot of testing lately and haven't had enough time to finish completing evaluations on one component before i get another component to test! i am also still waiting for my rma'd corsairs sets so that i can continue testing with those! lol! :) 05/31/2009 5:15:56 AM

ChRoNiC420
how come the cpu is only at 4.3ghz? i thought u had that core i7 to 4.8ghz before? god! cant wait to see when you get it up there on this board. 2000mhz ddr3 ram is a beautiful thing! 05/29/2009 7:54:07 PM

hallowen
thanks tiarpax, i'm still waiting on ram and possibly another cpu! :) 05/24/2009 5:29:48 PM

tiarpax
i appreciate the feedback on your scores hallowen. i believe u can set a world record one of these tries. keep up the good work. 05/24/2009 3:37:21 PM
quberthardcore np thx for the atvice 05/21/2009 4:11:18 PM

hallowen
thanks petercook93, i use to play games like halo, doom3, unreal, etc...., but since i purchased a sharp aquos 65" and a playstation3, i play games like resistance/fall of man, killzone2. :) 05/21/2009 7:58:15 AM

hallowen
no problem guberthardcore, you should join the forums and start posting your system specs. then you could read some of the threads to get various opinions/details about what you need! :) 05/21/2009 6:39:11 AM

petercook93
i love the setup man, i got tons of respect for the 24/7 rigs! oh and i was curious, what type of games do you play? 05/20/2009 9:24:18 PM

MDethfan
that's no moon. it's a space station!!! 05/18/2009 9:24:25 AM

tiarpax
outstanding work on your scores. amazing on chilled liquid cooling. superior rig and excellent scoring. 05/15/2009 7:11:45 PM

hallowen
thanks for those kind words tiarpax, but k|ngp|n still holds the world record with his "physx disabled" score! everyone here at evga uses the "physx enabled" scores. my "physx disabled" score is p34791. 05/13/2009 1:10:58 PM

hallowen
thanks q56_monster, i'll be using the chiller for a while yet, still more testing to do! ;) 05/12/2009 3:11:30 PM

q56_monster
congrats. surpassed your x58 vanilla board too! can't wait to see you vapochill that thing! 05/12/2009 2:53:44 PM

hallowen
i use aquagrafx gtx295 waterblocks. 05/12/2009 12:16:37 PM

Jordan23James
what kind waterblock gpu u use? 05/12/2009 11:48:53 AM
princetontigers gratz!!! 05/12/2009 10:28:01 AM

hallowen
i have now officially beat my i7-965 top score with my new 920 do! :) 05/12/2009 10:01:26 AM

jason002
nice to see that classified moving up!grats man!how much hairloss came with this score?! 05/11/2009 7:56:53 PM

hallowen
thanks chump7431, the fourth nf200 classified has been operating well with the 920 do chip.:) 05/09/2009 5:03:41 AM
DubsD glad to see you back with the classified. nice job and good luck 05/08/2009 9:44:35 PM

hallowen
thanks guys, still having a few psu voltage regulation quirks, but i should be able to obtain better voltage regulation when i change out this faulty tt1200 psu! 05/08/2009 2:59:04 PM

awalleyeguy
excellent. keep pushing. 05/08/2009 2:15:29 PM

iride4u
good show i am still waiting for my do maybe next week 05/07/2009 9:52:13 PM

hallowen
i'm back with the fourth evga x58 nf200 classified with a 920 do stepping that has almost equaled my 965 highest bench scores! :) 05/07/2009 6:58:03 PM

hallowen
thanks q56_monster, i won't be using any phase change on the next classified unless this fourth one operates properly on water cooling first. it's going to be hard to beat the scores my standard evga x58 sli has been reaching, and i'm not done with it yet either. :) 04/06/2009 5:36:46 PM

q56_monster
aw man...sorry to hear that hallowen. i'd like to see some phase change results when you get your replacement. 04/06/2009 3:20:57 PM

hallowen
hi jordan23james, at the moment, my regular evga x58 is working better for me when attempting high benchmarking scores using phase change cpu cooling. others that are using water or air cooling may like the classified for completely different reasons and eventually you will have to make a choice also. i'll see how the next replacement classified works later on. 04/05/2009 7:51:02 PM

Jordan23James
so here your answer not worth upgrade to classified? should i keep my regular evga x58? 04/05/2009 7:31:51 PM

hallowen
that's all folks!........i have disassembled my classified rig and have gone back to the original evga x58 sli motherboard due to having too many issues with the "three" classifieds that i have tested. i will see if i can better my top score of p43520 that unfortunately i could not get over on the third classified motherboard. :( 04/04/2009 3:48:05 PM

hallowen
thanks afterburner, i've been pushing it to see how it compares and although it's only on chilled water cooling, i don't know if i'll be going to phase to try and gain the 1300 vantage points i'll need to better the scores of the evga x58 sli! plus, i am still having cold boot problems on chilled water cooling that i did not have with sub-zero temps on phase with the original mb and i am thinking seriously about re-installing it. 04/04/2009 6:05:57 AM

=Afterburner=
ugh! i was afraid you would say that..... sweet rig man.. sweet rig... 04/03/2009 10:26:41 PM

hallowen
thanks woody2k, it's working good, but not as fast as my original x58 sli so far. possibly it maybe related to the hardware nf200 chip slowing it down a little. 04/03/2009 5:37:23 PM

Woody2k
awesome...simply awesome... 04/03/2009 4:40:35 PM

hallowen
hi heyberry, i'm using a 5200 btu a/c chiller conversion i built to control the water temps between 10c/15c on the cpu/gpu's. it is now shown above as pic 3. 04/02/2009 5:21:39 PM
heyberry okay im kind of a cooling noob. what makes your cooling setup so much better than a swiftech water kit, etc? you are going below zero degrees celsius so are you just making the water colder or are you using some sort of other chemical or device? 04/02/2009 4:15:05 PM

i've only been testing on chilled 15c water for the past two days and it's been scoring almost 42k vantage benches "right out of the box" with no mb prep or chipset tim re-do needed this time! ;) 03/30/2009 8:38:41 PM

man! 3 bad mobs? that should never happen for the amount of money evga is charging for that board! is evga aware of this? i know how frustrating that can be and i feel for you. i do hope you you finally get it all dialed in, looking forward to seeing how far you can push this board. good luck! 03/29/2009 12:53:01 PM

hi chillernr1, the cpu overclocks shown on futuremark scores are always lower than the actual overclocks. my cpu is really at 4.3ghz! :) 03/29/2009 11:34:32 AM

chillernr1
and your cpu only 3.8ghz ? 03/29/2009 11:27:21 AM

just the luck of the draw!, the first classified worked for 2 hours 20 minutes before problems due to high nb temps, the second was doa, and i am having cold boot problems atm with the third. 03/29/2009 6:35:53 AM

q56_monster
