love to see you brought your x58 vanilla out again! hope you tear it up and let that board rip... 08/01/2009 8:56:25 AM

hallowen
thanks raku, and i still don't know why my mods rigs goes to this build instead of my classified build!? :0 07/28/2009 6:04:52 PM

raku2040
awesome oc and nice selection of parts....hmmmm iam jealous :) 07/28/2009 12:35:03 PM

nateman_doo
less talk... more pics!! :p 07/13/2009 12:25:27 PM

hallowen
sorry guys!, it seems when you click on my mods rigs in my posts, it sends you here to my old 965 system instead of my new 975. please go to the main mods rigs page and select the rig you want to see there. :) 06/06/2009 10:14:01 AM

hallowen
lol!, thanks chump7431, that makes it about a half-dozen fellow overclockers asking that same question! :) 05/12/2009 1:00:09 PM
DubsD well if you need someone to take the 920do off your hands when you get the 975 let me know and shoot me a price. nice job buddy 05/12/2009 12:25:12 PM

hallowen
thanks guys!, i'm ready to buy a 975 now, but don't know when they'll be here in the usa. :( 05/12/2009 11:37:26 AM

boredgunner
yes it is real. throw the phase change cooler on your classified build and i'm sure you can get higher. i'd like to see what you can do with the i7 975 :) 05/11/2009 1:57:37 PM
sgt anerson is it real? oh my god. 05/02/2009 7:54:57 PM

Jordan23James
still on top for more than 3 months wow, wonder what happen to kingpin? 04/27/2009 11:41:34 PM
=DF=optical your a machine! 04/26/2009 10:07:21 AM

hallowen
thanks, the voltage tuner works using the 185.68 64-bit drivers by inserting the 182.08 64-bit nvapi_dll file in the evga vt directory. :) 04/22/2009 8:47:25 PM

q56_monster
man...that vanilla is the energizer bunny. just keeps going and going and going! those 185.68 drivers work with voltage tool? 04/21/2009 6:21:44 PM
hutt8400 wow you did it again. keep it up bro 04/18/2009 6:52:21 PM

hallowen
you gotta love it!, just broke my top vantage score again with this "vanilla" evga x58 sli! :) 04/18/2009 9:11:34 AM

hallowen
thanks andy2108, and that pic shows my "temporary" retaining plate i made for mounting a vapochill lga775 evap clamshell to a 1366 motherboard. also, there were paper towel strips placed between the ram to check for moisture while under sub-zero on phase change. :) 04/03/2009 6:52:56 AM

Andy2108
amazing work halloween! why is the tec's "block" mounted on a angle? why is there.... is it cotton? (?) in between the sticks of ram? 04/02/2009 8:58:44 PM
leshalfhill0516 could this be the info fyrezerk was referring to? http://tinyurl.com/dcj7fk 03/25/2009 12:50:30 PM

hallowen
thanks fyrezerk, i watched the video, he used the three gtx285's, no twin gtx295's, and he didn't show any scores! 03/24/2009 6:56:01 AM

Fyrezerk
i just saw trubritar's gpu armageddon video... you might want to take a look at that since he recorded higher 3dmark scores in every test he ran with 3x gtx285 than with 2x gtx295... interesting. 03/23/2009 10:12:19 AM

hallowen
i received and started the classified build this afternoon! :) 03/20/2009 7:35:44 PM

Blazen22
absolutely ridiculous, still on top lol's are you gonna get the classified? 03/20/2009 5:33:29 PM
Waseem_gamer nice ... 03/20/2009 4:37:08 AM

hallowen
thanks heyberry, it has been a "work in progress" that is always changing! :) 03/17/2009 9:03:15 PM
heyberry that is the most amazing thing i have ever seen. great wall of china has nothing on your cooling solution. 03/17/2009 5:34:43 PM

hallowen
hey thiererj, i use a uei digital thermometer probe next to the top of the vapochill ls evap head to monitor temps. i have found no accurate sub-zero temp monitoring program for the cpu and even the evga x58 bios stays stuck at -25c. 03/14/2009 1:52:45 PM
thiererj hey hallowen! can you recommend a good thermometer for my cpu through windows? i'm on a vapochill ls too and my current thermometer (cpu-id's hwmonitor) isn't giving me good temps (40c!?!?, bios says -35!) i could definately use a recommendation! 03/14/2009 12:56:51 PM

hallowen
alright!!, i was fortunate enough to have bought an evga x58 classified last night!:) the testing/benching will begin next week when it arrives! ---woot!!--- 03/14/2009 6:51:12 AM

hallowen
thanks guys, and warthorn, someday i may build an ln2 rig just for giggles and grins, but those systems require a lot of attention to run them for very long periods, and i can start mine up and walk away from it if i need to! :) 03/12/2009 11:54:03 AM
zyzyx6969 you're a freaking monster !!! hahhaha, jk !!! i'm speechless when look at your system & all the numbers !!! 03/12/2009 10:35:04 AM

warthorn
dude, your system sucks......which is to say..... when you're done with it you should sell it to.....god? :-) way to go hallowen, amazing 24/7 overclocks. probably the most powerful system ive ever seen without resorting to one-shot ln2. 03/12/2009 10:23:47 AM

Jordan23James
get prepared for evga x58 classified! hope that mobo will help u go over 50k heh. 03/11/2009 4:40:03 PM

hallowen
thanks guys!, not doing too bad with a "plain jane" evga x58 motherboard! :) 03/11/2009 2:11:52 PM

bg8780
your a monster!!! lol 03/11/2009 1:57:44 PM
OverClockBoy hey dude i was justr wondering since u built so many rigs, have u ever tried auzentech sound cards before, and if u have are they better than creative? 03/07/2009 5:35:40 PM
southwest damn that is a nice rig i would love to have that. good job:) 03/04/2009 6:42:22 PM

hallowen
thanks woody2k, it does take a little time/effort to get all the components working together "in sync"! ;) 03/03/2009 4:52:28 AM

Woody2k
this is my dream overclocking rig, although i doubt i can get it "all together" as well...well done! 03/02/2009 7:41:12 PM

hallowen
i've been thinking about that, but it would cost me another $1k since i would not only have to buy another gtx295, but another aquagrafx wb and an additional pump/associated parts for the chiller, and then possibly a new x58 classified for $400-$500, and the list goes on and on.........:) 03/02/2009 7:46:59 AM

Fyrezerk
still waiting for someone to get a third 295 as a physx card. since 3dmark benefits from the physx, it is sure to raise the score. 03/02/2009 5:30:14 AM

hallowen
thanks guys, i built this rig using some homemade parts/components that were not available/manufactured at the time! ;) 03/01/2009 1:37:40 PM

LonLon250
now that's a complicated system 03/01/2009 12:21:22 PM
OverClockBoy lmfao, really...lol..that was supposed to be my 1k...lol! but hey nice system, i just got mine, running pcmark06 and vanatge... ^-^ 03/01/2009 6:54:20 AM

hallowen
the 295's and the aquagrafx wb's have proven to be well worth the $$$! lolol! :p 02/26/2009 7:47:36 AM

viruzsniper
was the $1k in gpu's worth it? lmfao 02/25/2009 9:06:17 PM

hallowen
thanks awalleyeguy, onward and upward we go! ;) 02/22/2009 6:41:26 PM

awalleyeguy
incredible 02/21/2009 11:15:15 PM

hallowen
thanks fubarswe, the aqua's really like the cold! 8-) 02/21/2009 4:08:11 AM

hallowen
iride4u, yes, it was a good day benching! ;) 02/21/2009 4:05:12 AM

hallowen
thanks g-grizzle, we'll keep trying for more!:) 02/21/2009 4:03:17 AM

fubarswe
sweet results !!! congrats!.., will b catching up soon.. :-) 02/20/2009 8:18:57 PM

iride4u
today was a fun day for both of us wasent it 02/20/2009 8:13:11 PM
g-grizzle and again it's hallowen ftw, good job man, those are some crazy numbers up there. high five on your plate...keep up the good work. 02/20/2009 2:04:34 PM

hallowen
thanks iride4u, these gtx295/aquagrafx wb's are working great with my chiller and the evga vt! 02/20/2009 1:32:23 PM

iride4u
great job on getting over 43k. 02/20/2009 1:24:33 PM

hallowen
it's a temporary plate i made out of an electrical outlet box cover drilled to fit the mounting holes in the evga x58 mb. it is used to hold down the top of the lga775 clamshell. i am still waiting for asetek (vapochill) to release their 1366 kit. 02/20/2009 7:30:57 AM
KenMagnate so its just a flat plate with hole for the socket 1336? 02/20/2009 7:16:44 AM

n3ocort3x
yeah... he haven´t answer yet.... dont know what is with him... write him again.... i think he is ill or so... greetz 02/19/2009 10:12:53 AM

hallowen
thanks n3ocort3x, can't wait to see how your dice works on the i7! also can't hardly wait for the info on what we talked about! good luck with the dice! ;) 02/19/2009 10:11:31 AM

n3ocort3x
man gotta love your chiller.... have reserved 15 kg of dice for tomorow (only cpu, its damn cold in austria for the gpu´s ;-) 02/19/2009 10:02:30 AM
STROKER08 your welcome,,,,and i just love them new blocks for your 295's,,,you must have a deep pocket and lots of time to play,we dont really see that much in the uk as our banks \ counrty is f****d. ok,,,i will upload my rig spec as and when it's up and running,,,thanks again m8. stroker 02/19/2009 7:13:51 AM

hallowen
thanks guys, pic #4 of my mods rigs shows the temporary hold-down plate i have made to adapt the clamshell to the i7. also, evga has changed the look of the forums and now is missing the link to upload mods rigs photos/info, hopefully they will have that fixed soon! :) 02/19/2009 5:47:54 AM
STROKER08 what a awesome setup and rig,,,congrats on breaking the vantage 40,000 mark. oh,,,,i have been a evga user since day one on builds and read the forums daily,,,please can you point me in the right direction as to where i can fill the feilds out and upload my rig pics please,,,many thanks stroker08 02/19/2009 3:29:25 AM
KenMagnate how you convert it? 02/18/2009 7:58:24 PM
The Marksman congratulations, hallowen. great job! 02/18/2009 1:52:57 PM

hallowen
hi guys, and yes, i had to convert an lga775 clamshell to work with my i7-965. i also have windows 7 64-bit os on two raptors, and vista 64-bit os on two velociraptors. 02/18/2009 9:14:58 AM

Jordan23James
hey, nice rig and pcmark! why have two raid o hd raptorx and velociraptor? which hd use windows os? 02/18/2009 8:40:11 AM
KenMagnate where you get your phase socket for the i7? you made it? 02/18/2009 8:27:45 AM

hallowen
thanks sociopc, i have only aircooling on myx58 chipsets, temps run from upper 40's lower 50's (celcius). don't know about the classified, i think i have more to go with this one yet! ;) 02/17/2009 1:33:08 PM

SocioPC
mmmmm that score! do you have the bitspower blocks on your x58? just curious what your vreg temps are. oh yea are you getting the classified? 02/17/2009 12:13:27 PM

hallowen
thanks, with those pots and ln2, you should really get those vc's to soar! i had thought about using ln2 before, but then i wouldn't be able to run my rig 24/7.....well, maybe if i had "lots" of ln2 on hand! lolol! :) 02/17/2009 5:36:59 AM

n3ocort3x
a friend of mine have writen a visualbasic program to tune voltages... this is also very fine ... but the voltage tuner by evga works also great (if the voltage limit is off) there is a patch out to do this... the gpu pots are on the way, the guy from i had bought has send them to me yesterday... must call linde gas to reserve a dewar and 70l of ln2.. but yoor score on these settings are very very nice... good work man... keep pushing... 02/17/2009 2:20:12 AM

hallowen
thanks rambler358, i'm going to turn the chiller temps down and see what happens next! ;) 02/16/2009 6:58:02 PM

Rambler358
absolutely insane vantage score - congrats man! :-) 02/16/2009 6:25:26 PM

hallowen
thanks fubarswe, i'm just getting started with these aquagrafx wb's! :) 02/16/2009 5:59:04 PM

fubarswe
sweet result.., very nice job my friend! cant race you now..,waiting for new hw.., congrats! :-) 02/16/2009 5:23:30 PM

hallowen
thanks babyballa, but i already sold all three gtx280's in the evga marketplace in a "super bowl price cut" 24 hour sale before the superbowl weekend! :) 02/16/2009 2:20:32 PM

BabyBalla
sweet. so now your going to hook me up with you old gtx280s right? 02/16/2009 1:57:59 PM

hallowen
thanks man, this is the second bench result with these wb's still using stock voltages! i might even think about trying evga's voltage tuner. ;) 02/16/2009 12:31:36 PM

n3ocort3x
nice job.... back again.... that rocks... congrats ;-) 02/16/2009 12:15:37 PM

hallowen
thanks chump7431, it was the first bench with the new wb's installed! 02/15/2009 8:55:53 PM

hallowen
hey thiereri, this stock vapochill has not been modified, but i have a second one that i may redo with a little larger compressor/condensor in the future. :) 02/15/2009 8:53:38 PM
DubsD and we have a winner. nice job hallowen. for some reason i didnt think 2nd place was going to last. nice job again 02/15/2009 8:46:38 PM
thiererj hey, im wondering if you did any modifications to your vapochill like a bigger condeser or something and how well it handles the overclock? 02/15/2009 8:30:26 PM

hallowen
lol!, sorry about that babyballa, i was updating my mods rigs and i forgot to finish! ;) 02/15/2009 8:06:02 PM

BabyBalla
:o you doing all this with out a video card? 02/15/2009 7:49:47 PM

hallowen
thanks iride4u, there's more benching to come! :) 02/15/2009 6:46:31 PM

iride4u
congrats on taking your proper place at the top. 02/15/2009 6:42:47 PM

hallowen
thanks spikeyx, using the aquagrafx wb's, they are at 752/1621/1198 on the stock factory voltage. i want to see how far i can push them with chilled water before i think about trying to raise voltages using the evga vt. 02/15/2009 6:40:43 PM

SpikeyX
ooooo grats on taking 1st what new clocks you running on the 295's now? 02/15/2009 6:30:24 PM

hallowen
lol!, yes, they need to be a lot colder when using higher voltages! 02/15/2009 7:45:39 AM

n3ocort3x
the highest i go on air were 1,23.... more doesent work realy... absolutely instable... 02/15/2009 7:25:29 AM

hallowen
the voltage section shown on k|ngp|n's article about his new record was grayed out, so your guess is as good as mine! i'm sure it was higher than what the evga vt's limits are! ;) 02/15/2009 7:04:44 AM

n3ocort3x
do you know on which voltages k|ngp|n run the 295 on ln2 on is record ??? i don´tthink that it was 1,18... ??? ;-) 02/15/2009 1:42:28 AM

hallowen
on ln2 and the vt, they should oc fairly close to what k|ngp|n did with his! show us some pics when you get your pots! :) 02/14/2009 7:38:48 PM

n3ocort3x
yeah... ;-) i should get 2 pots for the 295 this week from a friend in switzerland... i have tried to put 1,25 volt on the gpu´s but on air it is impossible to stable it... 1,20 are stable at 755 / 1690 / 1250... i´m very snoopy how the work on ln2... ;-) 02/14/2009 5:15:49 PM

hallowen
hey man, i just finished up installing the aquagrafx wb's and now i'm running some water pressure/temperature tests on them. those 965's do put out some heat even with phase change cooling, the only thing else to do is cool the back side of the mb! 8-) 02/14/2009 4:55:57 PM

n3ocort3x
hy craig... how are you ?? just working on dice this weekend ;-) but without benching anything... get 965 to 4,7ghz but the problem are the volts... 1,75 to stable it... s+#*, 965 produces soo much heat.. ;-) 02/14/2009 4:48:32 PM

hallowen
thanks chump7431, we'll see what it does when i install the water blocks on the 295's! ;) 02/12/2009 5:11:15 AM
DubsD do i smell a x58 classified in the near future. you are the reason i think we do this. i got my pc 10 months ago, and i have been making upgrades just to stay on the mod rigs page. great pc and good luck with the overclocks 200 more vantage points and u r #1 again. good luck hallowen 02/11/2009 9:35:40 PM

hallowen
thanks mrhankey946, always trying for more! :) 02/06/2009 6:03:08 PM

mrhankey946
thats ridiculous (in a good way lol) nice set-up man, good job on the scores. 02/06/2009 2:15:59 PM

fubarswe
.., to bad.., lot of work in thread.., hopefully you can recover it... many benefit from threads like that.., wish you luck! 02/05/2009 10:37:03 AM

hallowen
thanks drjimmy2fast, and i appreciate the info on the new upcoming products, but right now i am trying to find a way to fix my thread so that ppl may actually be able to follow the posts from page to page like they use to instead of now having to scan 35 pages to find it! you might say that i am not a very $%*& camper atm! :( 02/04/2009 3:10:04 PM
DrJimmy2fast nice score again. hopefully you can get to the top again. some products that may help you are corsair's dominator gt, evga's x58 classified motherboard, and the rumored core i7 975 extreme edition. those components are the best of the best and the 975 is supposed to be an insane overclocker. hopefully your waterblocks will help in getting you to the top. thanks, drjimmy2fast 02/04/2009 1:06:30 PM

hallowen
evidently it looks like the evga staff is attempting to recover/correct all the lost/damaged/missing posts and pages in my thread, but whether or not it will ever be in the same page order/dates is yet to be seen! 02/03/2009 7:48:57 PM

Psycophobia™
that's a shame its a good thread, but i see your point hrs spent gone, that would make me think twice about posting they should back up these things, any way hope you change your mind :) 02/03/2009 12:41:37 PM

hallowen
thanks psycophobia, yes i always use p/j, ..........but unfortunately evga has lost 75% of my photos, rig builds and guides in my 26 page super thread "get it colder"!.......and evga says they do not think they can recover it, so as of today, i am done posting any more helpful information on the evga forums! :( 02/03/2009 9:34:40 AM

Psycophobia™
looks good man, take it you used your petroleum jelly as described in you get it colder thread for you socket and back of board, 02/03/2009 9:06:57 AM

derek277
sick scores. beast of a comp :)keep up the good work 02/02/2009 10:32:38 PM

hallowen
thanks iride4u, not yet, they are still stock cards on air cooling! :) 02/02/2009 5:14:52 AM

iride4u
good job. do you have your gpu blocks yet? 02/02/2009 2:00:01 AM

hallowen
thanks fubarswe, just ran a quick bench while waiting for the superbowl festivities! :) 02/01/2009 8:26:02 PM

fubarswe
hey.., getting there soon.., really nice man.., keep up good work! .., just a matter of time before you break the 42´s.. :-) 02/01/2009 8:16:11 PM
OverClockBoy woot woot cm v8 cpu cooler ftw!!! 01/31/2009 6:30:17 AM

hallowen
thanks n3ocort3x, i'll be waiting for your reply! ;).....and let's see some frosty temps with the pot when you get it! 01/30/2009 2:23:11 PM

n3ocort3x
write ya back tomorow....im sooooo tired... ;-) ps. got my x58 back and the pot arrives on tuesday..... yeeeessssss 01/30/2009 2:13:49 PM
OverClockBoy lol! now ima gettin a velociraptor!!....wow ur right...now i do want more more more lol! *_* 01/30/2009 11:27:50 AM

hallowen
n3ocort3x, you have mail! 8-) 01/30/2009 5:33:31 AM

hallowen
thanks fubarswe, and you are correct sir! :-) 01/30/2009 5:31:01 AM

n3ocort3x
i´ve found a method to increase the voltages via rt... this is so sick... no more ovp... yesssss ;-) no need for an evga tool.... ;-) 01/30/2009 3:48:13 AM

fubarswe
hey man.., impressed with your dedication.., i know bout addictive.. :-).., this "thing" gets to you and the more you learn.., the more you wanna push it.., 01/30/2009 2:48:04 AM

hallowen
thanks guys, it's addictive - the more you get, the more you want! 01/29/2009 6:17:22 PM
OverClockBoy bow chika wow wow my 2nd gtx 280 is in da house...hmmmm>>>now i want 3 lol! xp 01/29/2009 3:05:03 PM

1EyedMonster
hey great score, but i was wondering if you are not going to use the swiftech thermo-electric water block for the 295.i think that you can even use it with your setup, chill the water and thermo-electric cooling @ the same time?ooo also check out the fusion block system 2 cool your nb & sb. looks hot next to the 295's. 01/29/2009 2:22:44 PM

hallowen

halloween, i have been noticing my mods rigs pics coming and going too -- so it is not just you. some times i have 3 pics, sometimes 4, and sometimes 5. it seems to randomly pic pictures from ones i have uploaded in the past. sometimes they are old pics and sometimes they are new pics. it is strange. 01/26/2009 9:11:53 PM

wow congrats on the 1st place (for now haha) and 40k is ridiculous 01/20/2009 8:09:14 PM

EVIIILJ
#1, that's the way. i have been following all your builds for some time and i'm very impressed with everything. i wish i had more time to dive into some of the same stuff. two kids, wife, and job seem to interfere with my plans :) in regards to the oc on the ram. i currently run corsair 1600@1860@9-9-9-24-74-1t with no problems. i would hold out for the classified though. i need +500mv on vtt to achieve this feat. keep it up and post some pics when you get those waterblocks pumpin'. peace brotha! 01/20/2009 8:08:52 PM

hallowen
lol! just havin' fun with the new 295's! :) 01/20/2009 7:16:26 PM

n3ocort3x
hy there, thanks for your reply ;-) no the freezers for the 295 are coming hopefully this week from germany, today i´m testing at -6 degrees outdoor temps (austria is a coooold place ;-) scores are gettin higher, but without pot on the cpu there are not more than 4,4 ghz possible. greetz from austria 01/15/2009 10:16:32 AM

jason13
awesome 01/14/2009 6:11:27 PM

Batch
hey bud, are you planning on upgrading to the 295's? 01/13/2009 8:53:59 PM

hallowen
kingpin got the p36598 with tri-sli gtx280's, he now has a score of over 40k with the new dual 295's and is waiting on futuremark to approve the drivers for them before they can post them. 01/13/2009 8:09:21 AM
jasonelmore yeah he got that score with quad sli tho right? dual 295's on ln2 i beleive. 01/13/2009 1:32:22 AM

hallowen
thanks guys, in the futuremark vantage benchmark results (orb), kingpin is at p36598 (no physx), and i am at p32369 (no physx) atm. 01/10/2009 3:23:37 PM

Blazen22

hallowen
glad you are enjoying your new i7 setup.:) i have gone from a 2-way sli evga 8800gts setup last year right to the 3-way sli gtx280 hc-16's i use now. 01/09/2009 5:37:34 PM
OverClockBoy i just upgraded my system to an i7-940 and ur right on with the i7's being the best, i wanted to go i7-965 but the set up i have is great and im only 15 so i dont have as much money lol 8)!!!!! 01/09/2009 5:25:57 PM
OverClockBoy have you ever had a gtx 280 super clocked edition before, if you have, did you notice any difference between the hc and that???? 01/09/2009 5:23:49 PM

hallowen
appreciate your comments guys, and mp426 - you should see a big gain when you go to an i7 setup! :) 01/08/2009 9:52:25 PM

71barracuda
nice rig btw..soon after the next release i will step up to the i7,,,great scores..its nice to be number 1!!!2nd place is the 1st loser!!lol. 01/08/2009 7:39:35 PM
vispyr holy cow! somebody passed their s2 hvac licence test with flying colore! very impressive rig. but hg281djb display? you gotta get that puppy on a 30" 1600p, i wonder how she would hold up in crysis @2560x1600 max settings. awesome build tho! 01/07/2009 7:04:42 PM
agutalo much respect hallowen. 01/06/2009 9:56:09 AM
The Marksman didn't think you had the ____ greg aka:the marksman 01/05/2009 7:59:32 PM

hallowen
see my "get it colder" thread in the "overclocking, cooling and benchmarking" forums for info on the chiller build and parts costs. ;) 01/05/2009 6:53:37 AM
sephirothx666 so how much did this cost? 01/04/2009 9:48:10 PM

hallowen
thanks guys, pic#2 is my homemade water chiller that is used to cool the mb and vid cards. :) 01/04/2009 12:10:01 PM
sephirothx666 looks sick but is that a mini fridge cooler hooked up to it? 01/04/2009 11:50:33 AM
The Marksman just had a word with evga.not exactly what i wanted to hear.coming at you my friend.hard!very hard!best to you always, hallowen. best regards, greg aka:the marksman 01/03/2009 8:50:48 PM

MiQuel_NL
looks sick! respect! 12/28/2008 5:34:31 AM

hallowen
i think evga should add another score section here in mods rigs for scores "without physx enabled" which is what futuremark uses for validation. for example, my vantage scores without physx enabled in futuremark's hall of fame is p32369, but there is no place to post this score in the mods rigs. 12/24/2008 8:36:37 AM

rjohnson11
the scores posted here are valid for mods rigs but the scores do not qualify for futuremark's hall of fame 12/24/2008 8:27:15 AM

hallowen
i start the chiller, then the vapo, wait for evap temp to reach the desired temperature and turn on the computer! :) 12/24/2008 7:52:19 AM
Nickjbarstow your setup takes up as much room as a nice refrigerator. what steps do you take to start it up after being away from it all day 12/24/2008 7:28:04 AM

hallowen
no problem hazmattt, and thank you! :) 12/23/2008 8:19:48 PM

[HazMatt]
ah, got it. thanks for clearing that up. in any case, that is one kickass setup. 12/23/2008 7:35:35 PM

hallowen
seem good? my friend, they are verified by the evga moderators, and as for the "stock photos", i have stock pics of the evga mb and the vapochill ls to show what is being used in this system, and actual pics of my chiller and the overall pic of my rig. ;) 12/23/2008 9:04:50 AM

[HazMatt]
these scores seem good, just make sure to take real pictures of your system please, not just use these stock photos from the internet =) 12/23/2008 8:26:08 AM
The Marksman yes,rjohnson11,thank you. 12/22/2008 5:15:44 PM

hallowen
thanks guys, i'll keep pushing on as always! ;) 12/21/2008 5:55:30 AM

rjohnson11
this systems futuremark scores are indeed valid 12/21/2008 2:44:32 AM

Sckauter
very well done, i hope you continue getting great scores in the future :) 12/20/2008 6:42:41 AM

rjohnson11
yu'll need to change the driver for your score to be in futuremark's hall of fame 12/20/2008 1:55:31 AM

hallowen
the vaseline is what i use for condensation prevention for the motherboard/1366 socket at sub-zero temps. you can read about it at the start of my "get it colder" thread in the overclocking.cooling and benchmarking forums. 12/18/2008 5:20:47 AM
g-grizzle oh and whats the vaseline for in pic 4 ;) 12/17/2008 9:20:48 PM
The Marksman go to jacobs rig. please dont approach me until your mind is right and you're ready for true american compitition. all i want is the best for you ,hallowen. you're mind may not be able too comprehend that yet.if thats the case i understand.god bless and best wishes always. greg aka:the marksman 12/17/2008 7:26:05 PM
The Marksman i just put a message in forums under x58 to evga. if i was wrong confronting you then i deeply apoligize hallowen. 12/17/2008 2:07:13 PM

thanks babyballa, we both know that k|ngp|n will soar to new heights with his ln2/i7 rig. 12/16/2008 3:37:07 AM

BabyBalla
you only got a few days before k|ngp|n takes backs tops 12/15/2008 7:52:36 PM

hallowen
thanks guys, and marksman i hope your new system is up and running soon so i can see the changes you have made this time! 12/13/2008 9:18:23 AM
The Marksman good news.evga replaced the two 280's that went bad. i guess it's about time for the i7 and we will see where it goes from there.take care and best of luck. i'm afraid your going to need a lot of it this time around.you will definately know when my systems complete. best regards, greg aka:the marksman 12/13/2008 8:34:42 AM
jasonelmore try a low bclk with high multiplier. 150x33 when oc'ing. jack up the pll to 2.1 and the vcore to 1.58 and qpi .5 within your vdimm and give it hell 12/12/2008 6:25:17 AM

Master Pie
awesome rig. wish i had one well got to wait till next year for mine 12/08/2008 2:03:04 PM

YerBuddy

hallowen
thanks guys! :) , and blazen22, the 06 mark scores were run at default settings on the vid cards. when i get time again, i'll try to run some more at higher oc's! 12/07/2008 6:41:08 PM

Blazen22

tyetree

hallowen
appreciate the compliments, need to do more tweaking/modifying and see what happens! 12/03/2008 6:02:17 AM
jasonelmore great stuff. you should be able to get that cpu up to 5ghz. keep tweaking. did you have ht disabled on that run? and whats with all the kingpin hate marksman? anyways glad to see some new i7 stuff up now. congrats. 12/03/2008 5:01:42 AM

EVGAWeb_ShaneD

nice, last i saw your rig your cpu was like 4114mhz or something, and your vantage score was about 38,053. keep going hallowen. very impressive! 12/01/2008 6:26:42 PM

hallowen
don't know, i have only had this rig up and running for four days, mostly just testing/benching trying for a record and i haven't had any spare time to test any games with it as of yet! hopefully i may get a chance later on to run some. 12/01/2008 4:20:22 PM

ChRoNiC420
just wondering, how does this setup run warhead at 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 with 16xqaa and everything on enthusiast. what are the lowest frames (like on the train level during a huge battle while facing the giant frozen globe)? 12/01/2008 3:50:37 PM

hallowen
thanks blazen22, this is a 24/7 rig on phase change cooling i can use every day. everybody knows kingpin's rig on ln2 will be faster, but at least i got a world record out of it! 12/01/2008 2:56:43 PM

Blazen22
rediculous setup dude, multiplier of 27 insane, man we should probably call up kingpin ahahah lol 12/01/2008 2:03:35 PM

hallowen
thanks whoabob, trying to improve as we speak! 12/01/2008 8:02:33 AM

thank you lonewolf218, i am definitely enjoying it! 11/30/2008 2:38:32 PM

Lone_Wolf
congratulations! what a huge accomplishment, even more impressive that it's a 24/7 rig and not a bench queen. enjoy, dude! 11/30/2008 2:12:09 PM

hallowen
thanks guys!, this has definetly been a milestone achivement for me! 11/30/2008 10:51:14 AM

Bigrelly
congratulations your number ( 1 ) good job there well done.. 11/30/2008 1:07:01 AM
The Marksman congratulations hallowen! although i must say that this didn't come as a big surprise to me. and the reason for this is that i was keenly aware that it was never a matter of "if". it was quite simply just a matter of "when" you would reach the #1 slot. kingpin is now just "thepin." you are now the new king! and, hallowen,i can say with clear conscience and total honesty that i don't know of anyone that has worked harder and that is more deserving of being #1 than you. may god bless always and may i say once again,"congratulations!" take care, hallowen, and may the force be with you always! best regards, greg aka:the marksman 11/29/2008 10:53:30 PM

hallowen do you think you are going to pass kingpin anytime soon? your scores for 3d mark vantage are only like 300 apart. i wish you luck with that. also, why is your 3d mark06 score almost 10000 less than kingpin's? one last question, right now how much more headroom for the cpu do u think you have (in terms of clock speeds)? 11/28/2008 6:14:17 PM

Fyrezerk
that cpu speed doesn't seem that high. have you noticed a dramatic difference in overclockability between the core 2 and core i7? 11/28/2008 3:55:35 PM

hallowen
thanks bob, i think it has been worth the upgrade so far! 11/28/2008 1:33:07 PM

this is the initial testing of my i7/x58 build running at the default settings for the cpu at 2.653ghz and the vid cards at default. i will be increasing the settings once i am sure everything is functioning properly. 11/26/2008 5:01:34 PM
