Dynamic Overclocking is a new and ingenious method for maximizing the performance of your 6800 Ultra graphics card.

By analyzing various parameters of your computer system, the card will determine the maximum safe overclockable speed that it can operate at and dynamically set itself to that speed. As your system configuration (based on system load, etc.) changes, the card will automatically scale itself up or down as it feels capable.

In most cases, this will result in a core clock speed of 425MHz, however in some cases where the overall computer system is optimal, you can see speeds of up to 440 MHz in 3D. Dynamic Overclocking only applies to the core GPU speed, and has no impact on the memory speed.

In order to maximize your overclocking capability, you need to make sure that your system is correctly cooled, and that you attach 2 separate power connectors from your computer’s power supply to the 6800 Ultra. These power leads should have no other devices chained to them in order to provide for the best possible effect.

Finally, a way to ensure safe and sure overclocking without any headache or fuss – and it all comes standard!
