"EVGA always strives for, and markets to, the enthusiast crowd, even in their mainstream line, and that is evident in the EVGA Z68 SLI motherboard. The most impressive feature is definitely the overclocking performance, pushing my i7 2600K processor to 5GHz with just 1.45Vcore. The onboard power, reset, clear CMOS buttons, as well as the debug LED, are extremely helpful when overclocking, especially since the debug LED doubles as a CPU temperature monitor."

"Overclocking itself was a breeze, you can manually select how to overclock, preferably you simply increase the Turbo multipliers and find a corresponding stable CPU voltage with it. Our limit on this processor is varying from 4800 to 5000 MHz differing per motherboard. With this eVGA motherboard we had a stable 4.9 GHz and as you have seen we included the results in our benchmark suite. Superb cooling and better yield CPUs will no doubt go higher easily on this motherboard."

"The EVGA Superclock rather than expected, hit very well in the contest of good against some coolers in the market, just as classic, Noctua NH-D14 left behind. This is a cooler with very good performance but the the accompanying fan is quite noisy, has a noise level of 41.5 dBA which may alienate some buyers. If you do not have to endure some noise problems or have a well soundproofed box, the EVGA cooler Superclock should be an option on the purchase."

"Seeing that we were able to come very close to the performance of the GTX 570 in our tests with the GTX 560 Ti 448 Cores FTW, if the release price is really around $290, it will be well worth it. That price is a good one, and with the distribution of the GTX 560 Ti 448 Cores limited to only a few markets and a smaller amount of GPUs, this might be your choice if you were looking at the GTX 570 before."

"If you are buying a $300 video card right now, the EVGA GTX 560 Ti is a limited-run great value and bang-for-buck gaming video card that will stand among the fastest cards with just a bit more overclocking. When a great value is offered like this, we feel it deserves ABT’s highest award – the “Kick Ass” award."

"With more raw power and an insane amount of overclocking done from factory, this card will not let you down. Plus with a purchase price that is marginally lower than the GTX 580, a beastly 3-Way SLI setup is within your grasp without breaking the bank. I will most definitely be picking up another one of these video cards when they hit the market."

You can play Batman Arkham City with PhysX set to HIGH with 3D Vision on or get a constant smooth framerate in Battlefield 3 when playing in 64-man servers with the highest settings. Easily overclocked even further, you essentially have a potential GTX 580 for 200 USD less."

"...turned out to be one of the best graphics cards we have reviewed all year. By combining a pair of GeForce GTX 460 GF104 GPUs on a single PCB and pricing it lower than the GTX 580, EVGA has built a card that offers similar performance and more features than NVIDIA's own flagship single-GPU card."

"From our observations, eVGA has a great product on their hands. During my Gulftown CPU testing on LN2, the Frostbite was a clear winner compared to Ceramique, allowing me to run higher clock speeds and lower voltages, a win-win scenario. With the GPU testing on dry ice, however, there was very little apparent difference with my vGPU limited situation. With higher voltage (more heat load) and LN2 on the GPUs, we suspect the Frostbite would be just as impressive as it was with the CPU testing."

"We were able to get more of an overclock on this card than we have seen on our other GTX 580’s, but we barely scratched the surface of what it’s truly capable of. If the price different between this card and a standard 3Gb GTX 580 wasn’t so close I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone other than professional overclockers. But the reality is this card as it sits today is $10 more than a standard card. For $10 you are getting a card that is built to be pushed to the limit and should have no problem running for a very long time at the loads the average gamer is going to put it under. You are also getting upgraded cooling at still continues to (mostly) push the hot air out of the back and support from EVGA who actually encourages you to overclock the card!"

"EVGA has definitely designed an overclocking beast and with LN2 have alread passed the 1.6GHz mark. For us mere mortals who just want to use a traditional air cooling EVGA pretty much nailed it, they have the extra cooling the overclockers demand without the negatives of a huge tri-slot card that dumps all of its heat into a user's case."

"The card comes factory overclocked for you, where a regular GTX 580 has a 772 MHz base frequency and 4000 effective data-rate on the memory, EVGA brings that number up-to 855 MHz on the base clock and 4212 MHz on the memory, we find that a very nice factory overclock for a card of this stature. Any modern game to date at even the highest resolutions will not be a real issue. Make no mistake though, this is a grand product to own and I honestly hope you realize how much effort EVGA put in this product."
