NOTE: Remember, when overclocking it is important to increase clockspeeds with moderation; 5-10MHz increases at a time are recommend, and extensive 3D testing at every overclock setting should be done to ensure that your graphics card is stable in all applications.
I just installed Precision 1.5.0 and my custom skin is not working.
Some custom skins may need updating in order to ensure compatibility with version 1.5.0, for the GTX 285/295 custom skins, EVGA is working on updated versions to work with this version of EVGA Precision.
How can I save and load profiles in v1.1.0
Set your desired clockspeeds and/or fanspeeds, then click apply.
Click the down arrow right below the test/apply buttons to pull down the profile selection tab.
Right click one of the blank profile options to lock your profile to that number.
Set your desired clocks again for Profile 2, and click apply.
Right click one of the blank profile options to lock your profile to that number.
Now you can switch between the profiles, up to 10 supported, also profiles are located on the right click menu in the taskbar.
Finally, you can also assign a profile to a hotkey, to allow dynamic in-game switching of clockrates. (click on the wrench icon, then click on the Profiles tab.)
I just installed NVIDIA Forceware 180.XX drivers, and I can no longer control my fanspeed, how can I fix this?
Download EVGA Precision 1.3.3 or later, this will allow you to control your cards fanspeed.
When setting fanspeed on my 9 series card, after time my card reverts back to auto mode.
This has been corrected in the 175.16 driver or later, we recommend to use this driver for fanspeed adjustments.
My "Test" button is greyed out? How can I get this to work?
The "Test" button unfortunately is not supported on all graphics cards, this button is used as a helper for the cards that do support the "Test" function.
I cannot adjust my Shader Clock, how can I adjust this?
The shader frequency adjust is only available on 8 series GPU's and above, if you have a supported card, make sure to first uncheck the "Link" button.
How can I adjust fanspeed?
Make sure to uncheck the "Auto" button before adjusting this slider.
Does EVGA Precision need to be running in the background to set the clockspeeds?
No, EVGA Precision does not need to be running to set overclock settings, all that needs to be select is the "Apply" button.
I only see "Temperature" and "Core Clock" in the monitoring window, how can I view more?
You can do this in various ways, double click in this area to view more options, scroll this window, or scroll the mousewheel to see more real time running clockspeeds.
What is the difference between "Apply at Windows Startup" and "Start with Windows"?
Apply at Windows Startup sets your current clockspeeds and fanspeeds at Windows bootup, it does not start the actual utility, to run the actual utility at select "Start with Windows."
How can I enable Logitech keyboard LCD support?
Click the "Configuration" button (picture of wrench), then click on the "Monitoring" tab, select the feature you wish to enable and select "Show in Logitech keyboard LCD display." You can also adjust the font size by selecting the drop down field to the right of this option.

I increased my graphics card clockspeeds too high and my screen is distorted. What do I do?
You may try to press <Ctrl>+<D> to immediately reset clock frequencies to defaults. If you applied unsafe clock frequencies at Windows startup and your screen is distorted when Windows starts you may hold <Ctrl> after logging in Windows to prevent these clocks from being applied.
I do not see the on-screen display when running Crysis in Vista64, and using the 64bit path.
This is currently a limitation of native 64bit apps, for now the only workaround is to use the 32bit executable, also this feature is not available for DX10 applications when using multisampled antialiasing.
How can I enable monitoring in the System Tray?

My GTX 280 or 260 reads as 300MHz in the monitor, why is this?
The GTX 280 and 260 automatically throttle the clockspeed while in 2D operation; this is done to conserve power when it is not needed. This is a normal function of this card.
Can I type in clockspeeds?
Yes, you can do this by clicking once in the black rectangle boxes to the right of the core/shader/memory clocks. Remember to press enter on the keyboard, then apply to set the clockspeed.
Can I lock my profiles?
Yes, you can lock your profiles by clicking once the picture of the padlock right in the "profiles" screen. The padlock will change to a "locked padlock" image, this indicates the profile system is now locked.
