New waterblock - New thread. This will keep going as long as the SR-2 is around. I can make this block forever. Copper wont change so i can make these for as long as people still use the board.

Keep up the good work man. The more people who can make custom WBs for boards/cards/chips the better!

Id be more then happy to help you. I can't say how long it will take but I have made quantum leaps in designing and coding, but it sill comes down to my slow mill. I can't rush that sort of thing. You don't want me to rush your work do you? :)

It's been said many times already, but it will be said again. Wow, just wow nateman. This thread is the epitome of SR-2 porn. What an amazing thread, and product and it shows in the pictures, dedication and responses of fellow members who own and lust to own them. Being as I just got my new SR-2 system stable with some closed loop systems (*cough* Corsairs *cough), I really, really regret looking at this entire thread for the fact it inspires me to be the new Ferrari driver who most likely has a ton of fun and keeps in control 95% of the time then spins out into a tree :) Proverbially epic. I'm very highly considering ordering a whole set of these for my SR-2 board just for doing a truly correct water cooled build in the future, because that's what these type of boards deserve (and because I'd really like to crank up my system down the road since we true techies are so incredibly insatiable). Massive big props to your projects and your continued success...

Thanks! Welcome to the forum! Now keep your hands on the wheel, we don't want anyone wiping out on the roads in any cars, especially Ferrari's ;) I will be here when you need me.

As soon as you have one, then thats all that is needed to begin the design phase for a waterblock.

Thats pretty epic also. Still, an SRX, and some calipers need to occupy the same place at the same time

Sleinous How expensively good do they need to be? I was on my way to an SR-X but they went out of stock but hopefully soon! calipers for this kind of measurments should be acurate to +/- .002 that should be good enough. there is a little skill involved in using them acuratly though as well (although if you are detailed enough to build computers then more than likely you have enough skill) this would be fine although better quality would be better. http://www.harborfreight.com/6-inch-digital-caliper-47257.html and always remeasure the same dimention several times to make sure you didnt have a grain of dust or somthing messing you up:)
