I'm too easily excited by new products . I have absolutely no use for the new 680's as I'm happy with my current setups, yet I'm still hunting around to see if I can snag two in stock some where (don't tell the fiance ).

Don't forget that Nvidia have now gone teh same way as AMD with their "cores" thing. Also I believe the shader now runs the same as the core, not double.

You know what would be cool? If EVGA would release F@H PPD numbers on their new equipment like they do 3DMark11 scores and FPS in popular games. It would be cool if they used that as a metric for new performance. I know it's the primary reason most people buy GPUS's, but just a few wu's so people could get an idea. I mean...we are the #1 F@H team in the world after all. In fact, if they need someone to run these tests for them I'd be happy to test out any and all equipment they send my way.

i was planning on picking up 3 of these for my main rig just for the gain i would see with folding over my 580's but as of right now the core we have for f@h wont run on the Kepler cards ... i might grab some if they are noticeable improvement over my 580's once we get some valid ppd numbers ... because for gaming i dont rly see no reason to switch out my current gpu setup , but for folding itll sure be worth it
Gaming/Folding rig:asus rampage 3 motherboard , 6gb ocz ddr3 ram , western digital 750gb hdd ,3x 580gtx in sli , core i7 950 cpu @ 4 ghz, noctua d14 cpu cooler , antec 1200 watt psu Folding rig 2 : core i5 2500 , evga 520 gt video card <--- the living room pc

Yeah, I'm thinking a couple of things about Kepler. I want to see what kind of Folding can be done on this first release of Kepler (after they do what is needed to the Folding core for it). And then I'm also thinking to wait for the more powerful version of it (the GK110), assuming I can afford to power it at 250-300watts. Hmmm, maybe that isn't such a good idea...
