in real life there are no zombies (yet) to deal with... nothing wrong with being prepared... my problem with it is the mechanism is exposed... after the first couple of zombies it's going to gum up and short out... i would rather have an automatic shotgun with frag rounds and a seperate gas powered chainsaw as back up...

Personally I would like to get a Red Jacket Integrally Suppressed AK with thier door breacher Saiga SBS(mini AK 12ga shotgun) That would be about $5000 and two Class III regestrations I would have to fill out tho... There is something to be said about a good KISS weapon system tho and all of the goofy attatchments you can get for weapons thesedays is crazy... IMHO while its cool and all, a rebuild of Black and Decker hedge trimmer is not one I would really want.

It's cool...buuuuuuuuuuuuut...... zip ties!? and whats with the second red dot? That thing needs a full sleeve and a backpack with fuel and a gas generator. then with gas, you could theoretically drop the second red dot and slide on a flame thrower. If I had the time, I'd love to work on building a solid crossbow and some explosive bolts. What's a tax stamp? >:P

that weapon is poorly designed and will get their owners killled asap first off BATTERY powered chainsaw? can it even do any damage? second off all that extra weight...... third off 2 sights? really? heres the proper way to make a zombie killing ak47 cut it down to the bare essentials cut chunks out of the stock or replace it with something lighter add a NICE suppression system to keep noise to a minimum (though those dont do a perfect job fyi) and to keep light down. HOWEVER the drum round is indeed a good idea and a BAD idea too. To kill a zombie you must destroy their brains rapidly firing into a crowd of zombies will not kill a single one! you must take precise aimed headshots. Thats why my zombie killing weapon would be a semi auto rifle. ALSO shotguns dont hurt zombies at all unless the spread gets inside their head. Most shrapnel from grenades would be ineffective against them as well and yes i did read the zombie survival guide =P

Hey, just because you have a drum mag doesn't mean you've gotta fire like a maniac. Maybe we just don't want to have to reload at the worse time possible? Also, shotgun slugs are also an option if you don't trust the spread. Explosives are good if you need to slow down a crowd all at once. they may not "die", but it will be harder to get to you with no legs. I'd be weary of the vaporized zombie juice floating in the air though.

slugbug Battery powered chainsaw? Don't forget to stash some extra batteries ahead of time. and thats why this will always be a far superior zombie dispatching device.
