Really Impressed with the GTX 590 Classified Hydro Copper

Well swapped my 580's for a single GTX 590 Classified HC. I do have to say I am impressed, got the air heatsink/shroud along with it, Just put it on water. OCing not mega crazy but in terms of less heat/less noise, able to run any game out there. I am really happy/impressed with it. Have not had a duel gpu card since my 3DFX Voodoo 5 5500.

u get any temps on that card when its at full load or after an hour of gaming? i gotta say that watercooling gpus is definetly the way to go right now. i just did both my gtx 570's and couldnt believe the temp difference. used to idle at 44c, and now i cant even hit 43c under full load with ibt maxing out my cpu which is in the same loop. btw have u noticed if your games just run smoother? i used to get little hangs and microstuttering when my cards were air cooled but now that they are on water they run smooth as silk. thinking back on how hot they used to get and the power that they draw im kinda surprised we havent heard of more computers going up in flames. i know another brand had some fire problems at one point recently.

Very true but these are expensive cards and I don't wanna risk killing em so I'll leave em at that.

My only problem is the false advertisement on the card. When i bought the card I was expecting 3gb of vram. Instead it was only 1.5gb. So a little upset about that. Since I would have bought the 580s instead had I known

Since I would have bought the 580s instead had I known Well there is 3gb of vram on the card, it's just that each GPU only has 1.5gbs of vram. It's not false advertisement and AMD does the same thing.

Well having always bought from evga, I did not expect this from them. So I was honestly expecting 3gb of vram for a surround setup. Well, its too late now. Its a great card if not for the 1.5gb vram. I might just buy a couple of 580s in the future in this regard.

It's not an EVGA thing, anyone who released 590s labeled them as such. Sorry to say, but you gotta to the full research when youre buying a 700 dollar video card. Companies DO have marketing departments and they WILL try to sell you things.

If could I would trade my 2 590 cl hc for 2 580's. I the only reason I bought them was to over clock and bench. At the time of my purchase there wasn't a lot of information/testing or reviews done on them to know they had absolutely zero over clocking ability.
