I the only reason I bought them was to over clock and bench. At the time of my purchase there wasn't a lot of information/testing or reviews done on them to know they had absolutely zero over clocking ability.

Re:Really Impressed with the GTX 590 Classified Hydro Copper (Magnolia1038)

I am loving mine so far
Re:Really Impressed with the GTX 590 Classified Hydro Copper (hoserx)

It's not an EVGA thing, anyone who released 590s labeled them as such. Sorry to say, but you gotta to the full research when youre buying a 700 dollar video card. Companies DO have marketing departments and they WILL try to sell you things.
Re:Really Impressed with the GTX 590 Classified Hydro Copper (mikotan)

Well having always bought from evga, I did not expect this from them. So I was honestly expecting 3gb of vram for a surround setup. Well, its too late now. Its a great card if not for the 1.5gb vram. I might just buy a couple of 580s in the future in this regard.
Re:Really Impressed with the GTX 590 Classified Hydro Copper (ManBearPig)

mikotan

My only problem is the false advertisement on the card. When i bought the card I was expecting 3gb of vram. Instead it was only 1.5gb. So a little upset about that. Since I would have bought the 580s instead had I known

Well there is 3gb of vram on the card, it's just that each GPU only has 1.5gbs of vram. It's not false advertisement and AMD does the same thing.
Re:Really Impressed with the GTX 590 Classified Hydro Copper (mikotan)

My only problem is the false advertisement on the card. I do have to say I am impressed, got the air heatsink/shroud along with it, Just put it on water. OCing not mega crazy but in terms of less heat/less noise, able to run any game out there. I am really happy/impressed with it. Have not had a duel gpu card since my 3DFX Voodoo 5 5500.
